Welcome to Vibux, a project inspired by the popular video site that closed more than 1 year ago, called "Stage6" and created by DivX, Inc.
Why did we create Vibux?
Vibux was created by a group of artists wanting to bring HD to the art world. Vibux offers an audio/visual platform where artists can showcase/promote their latest work. At first, Vibux was powered by the "Flash Player", but this wasn't enough and so we decided to move on to the DivX technology, which provides higher-quality video by decoding high-efficiency file formats and video codecs such as the DivX codec.
Stage6 was one of the most entertaining and stunning websites, it was just simply the best HD video website out there. Our eyes teared when Stage6 closed their doors and announced that they would shut down their services. It was a very sad moment, and that's where we decided that we would revive it shortly after. However, we didn't have the technology nor money to build such website back then, so it took us more than we actually expected :)
Vibux is also for people wanting to share videos with family and friends. What better way to share your graduation, wedding video, child’s first birthday and all the other milestones in life than with high quality videos?
